What I’ve been up to so far this year…
As a Holistic Nutritionist since 2013 who loves helping people I was looking for a way to assist people achieve their goals. I have always been comfortable in the kitchen whipping up nutritious recipes that are also delicious. This is one of the ways that I can bring enjoyment into people’s lives – but I wanted to offer more.
I had attended some sessions with Hypnotists in the past and was intrigued with the results. First – it amazed me that patterns that I had lived with were so quickly changed. I was also surprised with the answers I came up with to questions while under hypnosis. Things that I ‘thought’ were true (with my conscious mind) were not what my subconscious mind revealed. The session felt like taking a personal truth serum – it stripped away any of the ‘I should think’ or ‘I should want’ and revealed my true inner thoughts.
Adding this skill to my offerings was an exciting endeavour to take on. I enrolled at University of Toronto’s school of Continuing Studies and took the 3 Levels to become certified. (Yes, the pandemic took us online for the final few classes – but this only illustrated how it is actually possible to practice some of this through the computer.)
I am now excited to announce that I will be taking clients for Hypnosis sessions.
What is Hypnosis?
Using guided concentration, hypnosis opens the subconscious mind for useful suggestions.
This enables you to make any required changes at this basic level. It doesn’t make you do or say anything that doesn’t fit with your ethical or moral beliefs.
You are not asleep (it’s like the state you are in when you watch a movie). It’s similar to meditation, but active. You can hear everything that is going on and you will remember everything that is said. You are in control at all times!
What can Hypnosis help me with?

You can tap into your subconscious mind to help you shed an old habit, kickstart a new project that you’ve been wanting to do but for some reason haven’t yet. It can help you lose weight, stay motivated to get in shape, eat healthier. It can help relax and calm you, help with sleep issues. It can help you work out old issues, deal with fears and phobias, supercharge your motivations and much more…
You are the master of your future – with hypnosis I am the facilitator. I just point the light for you to shine!
