Tzatziki is a delicious Greek condiment. I love to use it as a dip with appetizers as well as with fish or lamb main course.
Traditionally one is to use regular plain yogurt and drain it to get the thick consistency. This can take some time and you need to have a clean cheese-cloth (something the average person doesn’t have just lying around).
Welcome Skyr’s yogurt!! It is the thickest yogurt I’ve ever come across. Low if fat, sugar and super high in protein. As close to a ‘free’ food that will still fill you up! Winner!
Here’s you ultimate short cut!
Ingredients
Servings 5
- 1 cup Skyr's yogurt
- 1 clove crushed garlic
- 1/2 cucumber chopped up tiny
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. salt
Method
All you are going to do is chop up your cucumber into tiny pieces, crush your garlic clove and mix everything together. This is a taste as you go thing as some people like more garlic, more salt, more lemon taste.
